NGAM has committed to being a part of the solution to end Veterans Suicide. The 54 by 24: Service Dogs Save Lives campaign works to sponsor one medical service dog per state by the 2024 Motor City National Conferences. Service dogs have shown to be more than just a pet, they are a companion. Suicide rates are drastically reduced when Veterans are matched with a medical service dog, some organizations even eliminate suicide all together.
